Cornwall coastal wall art

Boscastle

Boscastle is a historic harbour village tucked into the steep-sided Valency Valley on North Cornwall’s Atlantic coast. Its sheltered natural inlet curves inland between rugged headlands, leading past the breakwaters to an Elizabethan quay and a village of stone buildings beside the River Valency.

Once a busy fishing and trading port, the harbour remains closely connected to the South West Coast Path, Willapark headland, Forrabury Stitches and the wooded valley upstream. From the air, Boscastle’s geography becomes especially clear, with deep blue water threading between the cliffs and the village rising inland.

These aerial photographs capture Boscastle through changing tides, summer colour and harbour activity, bringing together the inlet, quay, headlands and Valency Valley. A strong collection for anyone with a connection to Boscastle or the rugged North Cornwall coast.
