Who custom drone photography is for

I’m Nick, the photographer behind Cornwall Prints, based near the Seven Bays in North Cornwall. I photograph your property and its surroundings from above, with the shoot planned around what you want to show. Meet your photographer.

Holiday lets and property

Use aerial images and video to show the property setting, outdoor space, parking, gardens, access, surroundings and nearby points of interest.

Local businesses

Fresh photographs and video for websites, Google Business profiles, social media and promotions for cafés, shops, studios and venues.

Homeowners

Have your home or another meaningful place photographed from above, with professionally edited files delivered digitally.

The perspective and finish you can expect

These examples come from the existing Cornwall Prints aerial archive and show the colour, detail and viewpoint available for a commissioned shoot. Your shoot is planned around the property, setting and features in your own brief.

How remote shoots work

You usually do not need to be there. Once we’ve agreed your brief, access and the conditions the shoot needs, we’ll lock in a time with you based on the weather forecast. Your edited photographs and video arrive digitally 2–4 days after the shoot.

Send an enquiry

Share the location, preferred package, intended use and what you want the images or video to show.

Agree the details

We agree the scope, access, usage, full price and payment arrangements before booking. We’ll confirm which package fits and any light, tide or weather requirements.

Confirm a shoot time

With the shoot parameters agreed, we use the weather forecast to lock in a time with you. If conditions change and prevent the shoot, we’ll agree a new time with you.

Receive the finished work

Within 2–4 days after the shoot, we deliver unwatermarked, edited sRGB JPEGs, normally around 6,000 pixels on the long edge where the source and crop allow, plus web/social copies and finished 4K video. Larger exports for agreed uses can be prepared where technically possible.

Important details

Final edited files are supplied for the person or business that booked the shoot. Copyright remains with Cornwall Prints.

Usage rights

Business commissions include paid advertising, websites, social media, listings, brochures and promotional signage for the named business/property. Your agency or parent-company marketing team may work on your behalf; other properties need an expanded licence.

Not included

RAW/DNG photographs, complete flight recordings, unused takes, LOG footage and editing project files are not included. Standalone file resale, independent sublicensing and merchandise are outside the standard licence. Repeated décor schemes across rooms, units or additional properties need a separate agreement.

Safety and permission

By booking, you confirm you are the owner, business owner, authorised manager or have permission to request the shoot. If we cannot fly the location safely or legally, we’ll discuss the options with you before proceeding.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the practical questions people ask before booking.

Can I use the photographs in paid advertising?

Yes. Both £249 and £395 business bookings include normal paid advertising and printed marketing for the named business/property. There is no advertising surcharge or routine limit on promotional print quantities.

Does the commercial licence expire?

The standard licence is ongoing/perpetual and worldwide, with no routine renewal fee. Cornwall Prints retains copyright. Other properties and group-wide use require an expanded licence.

Can I print commissioned photographs for display at my property?

Yes. Business bookings include ordinary decorative display of the finished photographs at the property we photographed: for example, reception, an office, communal areas or one or several prints inside an individual holiday cottage. Promotional printing is also included. A repeated artwork scheme across hotel bedrooms, lodges, holiday lets or additional properties needs a separate agreement, even within one hotel or holiday park. We can quote to supply the prints or license the reproduction. Read the printing and decorative-use details.

Can our agency use the files?

Yes. Your staff, parent-company marketing team, designers, printers and agencies may use the files on your behalf for the licensed business/property. They receive no independent rights for other clients or properties.

Can I print photographs from a private home commission?

Yes. You can make prints, framed pictures and canvases for your own home and ordinary personal/family use. Selling copies or using the images to market a business or holiday let requires commercial rights.

Will private home photographs be published?

We will not publish photographs or films commissioned for private/domestic purposes without your permission. Commercial portfolio use is subject to agreed confidentiality, embargoes and launch restrictions. Private-use bookings do not automatically include commercial advertising rights.

How is a custom shoot different from ordering a print?

Our shop sells existing Cornwall Prints photographs as unframed prints, framed prints, canvas, fine art greeting cards and fridge magnets. A custom shoot creates new aerial photos and video of the home, property or business you choose.

Which package is the right fit?

Choose £249 for one straightforward property and £395 for more coverage of one principal site in one visit. Multiple locations, repeat visits, larger photo sets and substantial clip libraries need a Bespoke Commercial Project.

Does someone need to be there?

No. In most cases, nobody needs to be present. Details are agreed in advance and the shoot is completed independently when conditions are suitable.

When will my shoot take place?

Once we’ve agreed your shoot requirements, we’ll lock in a time with you based on the weather forecast. If the forecast or flying conditions change, we’ll contact you to agree a new time.

Will access to the property be needed?

Usually not. If access to private land, gardens, gates, parking or a specific take-off area is needed, this will be agreed beforehand.

Are copyright or raw files included?

No. Cornwall Prints retains copyright. You receive the finished files for the use we have agreed. Raw files, master files and unedited originals are not supplied.

What about properties outside North or Mid Cornwall?

Please enquire. Travel outside the usual coverage area may be possible, but may require a custom quote.
