Licensing questions
For the full details of what’s included, read our commercial licence terms.
Can I licence a photograph from the shop?
Yes. Send its product link or image name so we can confirm availability and prepare a licence for the underlying photograph. Buying a physical print does not itself include a commercial media licence.
Can you find footage of a particular area?
Yes. Tell us the location and type of footage and we can prepare a relevant preview selection from the available archive. You do not need exact file references to enquire.
Are paid adverts and printed marketing included?
Yes. Normal paid advertising, brochures, leaflets, advertising posters and promotional signage for the named business/property are included, with no routine promotional print-run limit.
How long does the licence last, and is it exclusive?
It is ongoing/perpetual, worldwide and non-exclusive, with no routine annual renewal fee. Cornwall Prints retains copyright and may continue to display, sell and license the media elsewhere. Exclusivity can be discussed separately.
Can we use the same media for other properties?
Standard pricing covers one named business/property. Multiple properties, a company portfolio or group-wide use require an expanded licence. Agencies may act only for the licensed business/property.
Can I print an existing photograph that I have commercially licensed?
Yes, for promotional printing such as brochures, adverts and promotional signage. The archive licence does not include making standalone wall art, framed prints or canvases from the digital file, whether one copy or many. You can buy finished prints from Cornwall Prints for display at your home or business; larger décor projects can be quoted separately. Commissioned photography has different display rights: read the printing and decorative-use details.
Need a custom shoot as well?
Combine archive imagery of the surrounding Cornwall coast with new drone photography of your own property or business. Defined shoots cost £249 or £395 and include commercial marketing rights for business bookings. Larger productions are quoted as bespoke commercial projects.
