Swirl of Sunrise — Pentire Point, North Cornwall (January 2026)
Photographed in January 2026 from offshore, sunrise ignites the sky above Pentire Point, washing the headland in a swirling palette of red, yellow and orange. This is one of North Cornwall’s most striking coastal viewpoints—National Trust land on the South West Coast Path, with far-reaching outlooks across Padstow Bay and toward the Camel Estuary.
Just beyond lie The Rumps, a dramatic twin-headland known for its Iron Age cliff-fort earthworks and distinctive volcanic geology—details that add depth to an already powerful coastal silhouette.
