Porthcothan Bay & Trescore — Low Tide Contrast (30 May 2026)
Captured on 30 May 2026, this aerial was taken from the south of Trescore, looking back across Porthcothan Bay with the rocky outcrop clearly visible in the foreground. With the tide out, more of the bay's rock formations and shoreline are revealed, adding texture and detail to the scene.
The standout feature is the contrast in the water: bright turquoise shallows sit alongside deeper, darker Atlantic blues, creating distinct bands of colour around Trescore and across the bay. A clean coastal image that highlights the varied character of Porthcothan at low tide, where rock, sand and sea are all clearly defined.
