Daymer Bay — Across the Estuary to Padstow (Spring 2026)
Captured in Spring 2026 at low tide, this aerial looks across the wide expanse of Daymer Bay toward Padstow on the opposite side of the Camel Estuary. As the tide retreats, the estuary reveals its network of sandbanks and channels, creating the distinctive patterns that make this stretch of coastline so recognisable from above.
In the distance, Padstow sits at the mouth of the estuary, while the old railway iron bridge near Little Petherick can be seen further inland. The combination of exposed sand, shallow estuary water and long sightlines gives the image a real sense of scale, capturing one of Cornwall's most beautiful tidal landscapes at its most revealing.
