Captured on 12 March 2026, this sunset view looks from the north-east across Daymer Bay toward Padstow, with the Camel Estuary running out through the frame. Daymer is a sheltered estuary beach opposite Padstow, known for calmer water than the open Atlantic beaches nearby, which is part of why it’s popular for swimming and paddling. The water is settled and reflective, holding the last light as the sky builds in layers—strong cloud structure overhead with a soft orange tinge near the horizon. Padstow sits further down the estuary as a clear point of reference, giving the scene depth without taking focus from the atmosphere.

The full A-series photograph stays on the front. Its outer edges are mirrored around the sides, preserving the composition on the face. The selected size is the canvas face size.
