Captured in early March 2026, this aerial looks east over Padstow, with Trevose Head clearly visible in the background. Padstow sits on the Camel Estuary, so you get that strong contrast between sheltered water and the open Atlantic headland beyond.

The light is complex and changing: warm sunset colour cutting across the town, darker shadow bands shaping the estuary, and distant rain falling beneath dramatic cloud layers offshore. It’s an “all-elements” Cornwall sky—light, shadow, and weather all visible at once—creating a wide, epic composition with real depth and atmosphere.

Photo size note: the selected A-size is the final print size. Borderless prints use the full area for the photograph. With the 15mm border option, the white border is included within the final print size, so the image area is slightly smaller.
