Padstow — High Tide Across the Estuary (May 2026)
Captured in May 2026, this aerial was taken from the east side of the Camel Estuary, just west of Rock, looking across toward Padstow. At high tide, the large sandbar stretches out toward the town, shaping the estuary and giving the scene its distinctive form.
The water shows a beautiful range of blue tones, from lighter shallows over the sand to deeper colour in the main channel, with boats dotted across the estuary adding life and scale. A calm, expansive view of Padstow’s estuary setting, defined by colour, tide, and the broad sweep of the water.
