Trevose Head Lighthouse at Sunrise (20 March 2026)
Captured on 20 March 2026, this aerial was taken from the west over the Atlantic, looking inland eastwards with Trevose Head Lighthouse held directly in the centre of the frame. The sun is just breaking the horizon, throwing a clean orange and yellow glow behind the headland while the lighthouse stays crisp and dominant as the focal point.
Trevose Head Lighthouse was built by Trinity House in 1847 and remains one of the key navigation lights on this stretch of Cornwall’s north coast. The combination of a central, “portrait” composition and first-light colour makes this image feel precise and calm—structure first, atmosphere second, with the coastline softly receding behind it.
