I took this high above West Pentire on 20 June 2026, looking north-east across Crantock Bay to Newquay, a minute before I flew out over Polly Joke.
Shallow channels of the Gannel wind across the pale sand, the water in the bay is a soft turquoise under summer cloud, and the green headland of Pentire Point East runs out on the left with Newquay’s houses spread behind it.
Printed from the full-resolution photograph on Invercote photographic card, which keeps the gentle colours of the water and sand clean. A5 (148 × 210 mm) with a clean white border, one for anyone who has waded across the Gannel to Crantock.

An A5 photographic card, printed in North Cornwall
Each card is one of my original aerial photographs of Cornwall, printed by me in North Cornwall on Invercote card with a clean white border. Blank inside, with a white envelope and a clear protective sleeve.
A5, 148 × 210 mm
Large enough for the whole photograph with a white border around it, and blank inside for your own message.
Invercote card
A smooth, bright, multi-layered board, stiff enough for the card to stand well and to hold the fine detail of the photograph.
Printed from the master file
Every card is printed from the full-resolution photograph, the same file I use for the wall prints, not a web copy.
