I flew out over the sea off Harlyn Bay as the sun came up on 14 January 2026, looking over the beach to the fields inland.
The low winter sun bursts into rays above the fields, soft streaks of cloud catch the gold, and small waves run white along the sand.
Printed from the full-resolution photograph on Invercote photographic card, so the glow of the sky and the fine texture of the sea stay soft and even. A5 (148 × 210 mm) with a clean white border, a hopeful card for a new year or a fresh start.
