I took this from over the sea off Mawgan Porth on a January morning in 2026, after days of rain, looking inland towards Newquay Airport as the sun came through the cloud.
Floodwater lies across the fields of the Vale of Lanherne, the runway gleams on the horizon, and below the cliffs the Atlantic is still churned white.
Printed from the full-resolution photograph on Invercote photographic card, which holds the soft light in the winter sky and the shine on the floodwater. A5 (148 × 210 mm) with a clean white border, for someone who works at the airport or always flies home through Newquay.
