Newquay Town Beaches — Low Tide from Tolcarne (4 May 2026)
Captured on 4 May 2026 at low tide, this aerial looks south-west from Tolcarne Beach along Newquay’s town shoreline. Great Western and Towan sit down the bay, with Fistral visible further out in the background. The low tide pulls the sea back and opens the beaches out, revealing wider sand and more of the shoreline detail.
Despite mixed conditions, the water still shows strong turquoise colour through the shallows, giving the scene its lift. A clear, information-rich view of Newquay’s central coastline—multiple beaches in one frame, with the headlands and bays stepping away into the distance.
