I photographed Newquay’s beaches from above the cliffs at Tolcarne on a bright May afternoon in 2026.
The sea has pulled right back, so the sand runs all the way to the harbour, and the water along the edge is a clear, bright turquoise.
Printed from the full-resolution photograph on Invercote photographic card, so the rocks in the foreground and the town on the skyline are equally sharp. A5 (148 × 210 mm) with a clean white border, a card for anyone who has stayed above Tolcarne Beach.
