About this photograph

Polzeath at the end of October, with a big swell coming in and the beach wide open at low tide.

Clean lines of surf run right across the bay towards Pentire Point, there are surfers out in the white water, and Newland sits offshore beyond the headland.

It’s printed from the full-resolution photograph on Invercote photographic card, which keeps every line of white water sharp, and finished at A5 (148 × 210 mm) with a white border. For the surfer who checks the Polzeath forecast before anything else in the morning.

Each card is one of my original aerial photographs of Cornwall, printed by me in North Cornwall on Invercote card with a clean white border. Blank inside, with a white envelope and a clear protective sleeve.
