Polzeath on a big swell at the end of October, with the camera pointed out to sea and nothing in the frame but the surf.
The lines come in one behind the other from the open Atlantic and break white right across the bay, with Pentire Point curving round on the far side and Newland offshore.
On Invercote photographic card, printed from the full-resolution photograph, the deep blue of the open water stays rich and the white water stays crisp; the card is A5 (148 × 210 mm) with a white border. One to send a friend who has been waiting all autumn for a swell like this.
An A5 photographic card, printed in North Cornwall
Each card is one of my original aerial photographs of Cornwall, printed by me in North Cornwall on Invercote card with a clean white border. Blank inside, with a white envelope and a clear protective sleeve.
A5, 148 × 210 mm
Large enough for the whole photograph with a white border around it, and blank inside for your own message.
Invercote card
A smooth, bright, multi-layered board, stiff enough for the card to stand well and to hold the fine detail of the photograph.
Printed from the master file
Every card is printed from the full-resolution photograph, the same file I use for the wall prints, not a web copy.
