I see plenty of sunsets at home in Porthcothan, but this was one of the best of the year. On 29 October, the sky turned into an absolutely spectacular inferno of orange and gold, and I photographed the bay at 5.16pm.
The colour fills the clouds and catches the sea below, reaching all the way onto the wet sand. Dark cliffs and the houses above the beach make that glowing sky feel even bigger.
Printed from my full-resolution photograph on Invercote photographic card, this A5 card (148 × 210 mm) brings out the fiery colour and fine detail, with a clean white border. A little of that Porthcothan evening for someone who would have loved to be there.
An A5 photographic card, printed in North Cornwall
Each card is one of my original aerial photographs of Cornwall, printed by me in North Cornwall on Invercote card with a clean white border. Blank inside, with a white envelope and a clear protective sleeve.
A5, 148 × 210 mm
Large enough for the whole photograph with a white border around it, and blank inside for your own message.
Invercote card
A smooth, bright, multi-layered board, stiff enough for the card to stand well and to hold the fine detail of the photograph.
Printed from the master file
Every card is printed from the full-resolution photograph, the same file I use for the wall prints, not a web copy.
