St Ives Harbour from above the Island, with the sun so bright on the bay that the sea went silver.
It quietens all the colour: slate roofs, the boats behind Smeaton’s Pier, people crossing the harbour sand, and Porthminster’s beach further round under the trees.
The full-resolution photograph is printed on Invercote photographic card, which keeps the fine detail in the rooftops, and it’s A5 (148 × 210 mm) with a white border. A gentle one for someone with happy memories of the harbour.
