Behind the lens

About this photograph

The whole of St Ives in one picture. I flew out beyond the Island on a bright October morning and looked back at the town.

The grassy Island is in front, the harbour and Porthgwidden on the left, Porthmeor and its surf on the right, and the houses stacked up the hill behind them all.

The full-resolution photograph is printed on Invercote photographic card, which holds the detail in the rooftops and rocks, and the card is A5 (148 × 210 mm) with a white border. A good one to send someone who used to holiday in St Ives and still talks about it.

The same photograph is also made as a wall print from £25 and a fridge magnet (£6.99).

Each card is one of my original aerial photographs of Cornwall, printed by me in North Cornwall on Invercote card with a clean white border. Blank inside, with a white envelope and a clear protective sleeve.
