Treyarnon Bay Sunrise — Swirling Cloud and Smooth Swell (20 March 2026)

Captured on 20 March 2026, this sunrise over Treyarnon Bay comes a little later than the earlier “fire-sky” moments, with the orange sun just lifting above the horizon. Swirling orange cloud sits across the sky while the sea stays calm, with smooth, even lines of swell running into the bay.

Treyarnon is one of the “Seven Bays” on the St Merryn coast, a sandy north-coast bay backed by dunes and low cliffs. Here it reads clean and open—warm sky, quiet water, and those soft swell bands giving the frame gentle structure.

Photo size note: the selected A-size is the final print size. Borderless prints use the full area for the photograph. With the 15mm border option, the white border is included within the final print size, so the image area is slightly smaller.
