On a bright August afternoon in 2026 I flew out over the sea near St Agnes and turned to face the cliffs under Wheal Coates.
With the tide out, sand runs right along under the red and grey rock, there’s a cave at the bottom of the cliff, and the engine houses stand above it among the heather and paths.
Printed from the full-resolution photograph on Invercote photographic card, which keeps the colour in the rock and the line of the surf clean. A5 (148 × 210 mm) with a clean white border, one for a friend who has walked the coast path past the mine.
