Cornwall coastal wall art
Bedruthan Steps
Bedruthan Steps is one of North Cornwall’s most dramatic stretches of coastline: a line of sea stacks, cliffs and wide sand exposed by the falling tide.
The famous giant story — that Bedruthan used the stacks as stepping stones across the bay — is now thought to be a later Victorian-era invention, but the real history is just as interesting. Carnewas and Bedruthan were once tied to 19th-century mining activity, and the cliffs, stacks and old mine buildings still give the place a sense of scale, danger and age.
These aerial prints focus on the shape of the coastline from above: rock towers, tide lines, cliff shadows and the huge open beach below. A strong choice for bold Cornwall wall art, especially in larger sizes.
