Bedruthan Steps — Peak Low Tide Detail (Wed 8 April 2026)
Captured on Wednesday 8 April 2026, the first properly hot day of spring: bright sun with a light haze in the air. This aerial is taken from the south, looking north, directly over the Bedruthan Steps sea stacks with strong detail and clarity.
It was peak low tide, which is why the stacks are so fully exposed and surrounded by a wide sweep of sand, making the scale and spacing of the rocks much easier to read. Clean, even lines of swell run out beyond the beach into the Atlantic, giving the scene structure without taking attention away from the rock and sand patterns.
