Great Western Beach on a late-August afternoon in 2026, which I photographed from out over the sea between my Lusty Glaze and Tolcarne pictures.
The water is clear enough to show the weed and rock on the bottom, surfers and swimmers dot the shallows, and the hotels and houses of Newquay line the cliffs above the sand.
Printed from the full-resolution photograph on Invercote photographic card, which holds the detail right down to the boards in the water. A5 (148 × 210 mm) with a clean white border, a good card for someone who learned to surf in Newquay.
