Behind the lens

About this photograph

Trevellas Porth, just along the coast from Trevaunance Cove at St Agnes, photographed from directly overhead with the tide right up the beach.

The water is so clear you can see the rocks on the seabed, with a pale, milky patch drifting out from the shore and a line of red seaweed along the sand.

Printing it from the full-resolution photograph on Invercote photographic card keeps the rocks under the water sharp, and it is finished at A5 (148 × 210 mm) with a white border. For anyone who knows it as Blue Hills and has walked down the coombe to the cove.

The same photograph is also made as a wall print from £25 and a fridge magnet (£6.99).

Card details

An A5 photographic card, printed in North Cornwall

Each card is one of my original aerial photographs of Cornwall, printed by me in North Cornwall on Invercote card with a clean white border. Blank inside, with a white envelope and a clear protective sleeve.

A5, 148 × 210 mm

Large enough for the whole photograph with a white border around it, and blank inside for your own message.

Invercote card

A smooth, bright, multi-layered board, stiff enough for the card to stand well and to hold the fine detail of the photograph.

Printed from the master file

Every card is printed from the full-resolution photograph, the same file I use for the wall prints, not a web copy.
